CancerCare is pleased to welcome Brooke Griffin as Assistant Director of Individual Giving.
Brooke will play an important role in the growth of the individual giving program, an integral and expanding component of CancerCare’s philanthropic revenue. Reporting to the Senior Director of Philanthropy, Brooke will be responsible for successfully managing a donor prospect list, working to engage and cultivate donors. In addition, Brooke will support CancerCare’s Young Professionals Committee and its annual fundraising event.
Brooke brings 9 years of experience in nonprofits to CancerCare, as well a deep appreciation for the mission. Most recently, Brooke served as the Associate Director of Development, Silicon Valley at Human Rights Watch. There, Brooke managed a variety of efforts including individual giving, events, donor communications, and systems management. Prior to her time at Human Rights Watch, Brooke held multiple roles at SFFILM, in addition to serving on the Board of SCRAP, a nonprofit working at the intersection of the arts, arts education and the environment.
