Health Imperatives is delighted to welcome Chief Advancement Officer Jennifer Wong. In her new role, Jenn will set Health Imperatives’ philanthropic vision and direct the implementation of its strategic development plan. Reporting to President and CEO Julia Kehoe, she will lead a dedicated team of fundraisers and communicators to improve systems, implement best practices, and increase annual giving.
Jenn brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in community, academic, government, and international organizations. She most recently worked with the Boston Public Health Commission and Partners in Health; prior to that, she held director-level positions with UMass Amherst, Northeastern University, Pathfinder International, the United Nations, and the World YWCA.
With a demonstrated commitment to health equity, advocacy and social justice, Jenn is a skilled nonprofit practitioner and seasoned fundraiser with broad experience in communications, corporate partnerships, institutional and individual giving, and stakeholder relations. She will collaborate with the Board of Directors and staff to further establish Health Imperatives as the leading resource, thought partner, and health and human service provider for individuals and families impacted by violence, poverty, systemic racism, and discrimination.

Health Imperatives’ trauma-informed, inclusive services are structured around four primary areas of focus and expertise: Sexual and Reproductive Health Care and other Health Care Services, Youth and Young Families, WIC Nutrition Assistance and Support for Survivors of Violence.
