Pine Street Inn is delighted to welcome Katie Brockway as its new Leadership Giving Officer at an exciting moment for the organization’s Advancement program, as Pine Street launches a new Leadership Giving program for donors giving $2,500 and above annually.
Katie is a seasoned fundraiser with experience in leadership gifts, major gifts, and donor stewardship. She has a strong track record of building meaningful donor relationships and developing engagement strategies that foster long-term philanthropic growth. Most recently, she served as Senior Development Officer at Hope For Paws, where she led the development of the organization’s fundraising infrastructure and donor journeys. Previously, Katie spent several years at Perkins School for the Blind – there, as a Major Gift Officer and a Leadership Gift Officer, she worked with donors at all levels, secured major and leadership gifts, and created tailored cultivation and stewardship plans. She has also held advancement positions at Suffolk University as Assistant Director of Stewardship, as well as at the Boston Alliance of LGBT Youth (BAGLY) and Bravo! Vail.
In her new role, Katie will serve as the strategic and operational lead for Pine Street’s developing Leadership Giving program. She will help establish systems, workflows, and engagement strategies to create a meaningful and scalable experience for Leadership Giving donors, collaborating closely with Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Advancement Operations, Development Systems, and Communications teams. Her work will focus on strengthening donor retention and upgrades, identifying new opportunities, supporting thoughtful donor transitions, and creating mission-centered touchpoints that deepen donors’ connection to Pine Street’s work.
Katie is excited to bring her experience in building donor programs and cultivating relationships to Pine Street Inn. She looks forward to helping establish a Leadership Giving program that strengthens connections between donors and the organization’s efforts to support individuals experiencing homelessness. Katie will join Pine Street Inn this September.
