Renee has over 20 years of fundraising experience, with a strong focus in corporate and foundation relations. Most recently, she served as the Organizational Advancement Partner at Urban Bush Women, where she developed institutional fundraising and individual donor strategies, as well as organizational branding strategies to advance the vision and mission of the organization. Earlier in her career, Renee spent nine years in progressive fundraising roles at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, which included raising funds for the Comprehensive Cancer Center. Renee has also held roles at High Point University, Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Salem Academy and College and Averett University.

As Senior Grants Administrator, Renee joins CancerCare at an exciting growth point in their 75-year history. Renee will work closely with the Senior Director of Development to increase and diversify institutional revenue in support of programs that provided over 200,000 services to people affected by cancer in the last year. Central to Renee’s role will be proposal and report development and close collaboration with program staff to ensure meaningful reporting.
